This is a course for professionals or those interested in the field of human relations,wanting to extend their skills through a basic understanding of Creative Therapies.

The course is designed as a practical hands- on course, maintaining a workshop type atmosphere.No lectures or academic style teaching.It is based on active participation and sharing of knowledge therein.Attention to individual training needs is given priority over a static training program.Although not theoretic in nature,the course will refer to many concepts of contemporary Therapy as a pool of inspiration.Enthusiasm will be the the key to teaching and learning.

Contents include

* Art History as seen through the eye of therapy

* Color Theory (Goethe, Itten, Bauhaus)

* The Art of observing image and form in depth

* Techniques and Approaches of Art Therapy in a professional setting

* Basic concepts and Techniques of Gestalttherapy and Psychodrama

* Journey of inner self development

This is an ongoing series of workshops on a fortnightly basis,with a mission to introduce Art Therapy to a wider public

With the help of fine art materials, mainly luminous water colours or clay we will engage in a process of self-discovery.A deeper connection to ones feelings and dormant creativity is awakened and brought to light.The resulting images and forms are then mirrored in a group process that has a healing intention.Individual creation and being received in a group thus can fructify one other.
No artistic ability or knowledge is required.
