MANAGE LIFE'S CHALLENGES WITH CBT
|
Manage Life’s Challenges with CBT
Change how you feel
by changing your thinking
This Personal Development course will introduce you to the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT is a reliable approach that any of us can learn, in order to cope better with difficult emotions e.g. anxiety, fear or anger. Because our thoughts, our emotions, our behaviours and our physical reactions all affect each other, CBT helps us to understand and change our habitual thoughts and behaviours, which can be very beneficial when it comes to dealing with the ongoing stresses and challenges of life. Change how you feel by changing your thinking. Introduction to the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Learn to cope with difficult emotions e.g. anxiety, fear or anger. Understand your own thinking and learn how this affects the way you manage life’s challenges.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we act (behaviour), how we feel (emotion) and what is happening in our bodies (physiology) all interact together. Specifically, our thoughts strongly influence our feelings and our behaviour; therefore unhelpful, negative and unrealistic thoughts can be a major source of distress.
