Principles of Kinesiology is a modern introductory course into Kinesiology. It is designed as an introductory course for Neuroenergetic Kinesiology which has been developed by Hugo Tobar. This two day workshop is designed to give the student insight into the world of Tarot, an understanding of the cards and how Tarot can be used for personal development as well as a tool for divination. This workshop is totally suitable for beginners - a natural interest in Tarot is all that is needed!

During this workshop we will be looking at the structure of the Tarot cards and exploring the meanings of each of the 78 cards. Once students have an understanding of the cards we will then move on to how to use the cards and your intuition through practical and usable simple spreads.


My objective is for each student to leave with a fundamental knowledge of the cards and an appetite to continue the voyage into Tarot and experience it's powerful potential.

The workshop will run over two Sundays (18th and 25th July) from 10am to 5pm. The entire cost is €160 (€50 deposit payable in advance). Students will need to bring their own Rider Waite Tarot cards. Notes will be provided but I would also advise bringing a notepad and pen to build on these and add your own thoughts.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Courses in Galway City. The next one starts on 3rd Feb. 2010. There will be other in May and Sept. 2010. Gosia Desmond will be talking about "Heart Disease and Practical Nutritional Strategies to Avoid or Survive this Deadly Disease."


Cardiovascular disease causes nearly half of all deaths in Europe (48%) and is recognized as the number one killer in the Ireland. As long ago as 1991, America’s top cardiologists concluded that heart disease can be arrested, reversed and prevented with the help of a plant-based diet and that present nutritional guidelines of government and national health organisations do not maximize the opportunity to tackle the heart disease epidemic. Since then, study after study has confirmed that the only sure way to reach a cure from heart disease is by dealing with its cause - faulty diet and lifestyle, yet in Ireland & The UK the cause is often ignored.



Recent developments in America have shown that the orthodox medical community are shifting towards natural nutritional approaches to this deadly disease. A new law proposed by the California State Assembly requires that doctors fully inform their patients about the possibility of reversing heart disease through nutrition therapy, prior to delivering non-emergency treatment for this condition. Under the proposals patients would have to be informed about all the risks and side effects of the current heart disease therapies like bypass surgery and angioplasty, and the possibility of side effect-free lifestyle change and sensible use of inexpensive medications as treatment instead.



Gosia will present the latest evidence that heart disease can be arrested, prevented and even reversed by a change of diet. She will illustrate how patients for whom sugery has failed, and who had been given less than one year to live, regained their health and greatly prolonged their lives after starting a corrective nutritional programme.

Enchanted Solstice Sing

Ever wondered why music, and especially vocal music, is used all over the world in ritualistic, healing and sacred contexts? Ever wanted to further explore this power the voice has to move, sooth, uplift, transcend and transform?



In this workshop we will create a safe, non-exposing space to explore and experiment with our voices. This day of listening, meditation, movement, chanting, toning and singing will leave you both relaxed and uplifted and you will learn some transformative vocal techniques which can bring positive change in your life. We will also mark midsummer, a magical time when the days are longest and the nights are shortest and when ancient peoples gathered in song to celebrate the sun and its life-giving power. The workshop takes place in the idyllic setting of the Sanctuary, an oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of Dublin, where we can sing in outdoor and indoor circular spaces which really help to intensfy the experience of our vocal sound.

Co-counselling is a two-way system of therapy based on equality. A basic training course (Fundamentals) is an intensive five-day workshop. It teaches skills in clienting and in counselling. This workshop highlights the blocks that are preventing you from living as you should. Awareness is crucial to understanding why life is the way it is for you. Your beliefs, fears and feelings have a tremendous effect on creating the reality you live in. Isn't it great to know you can choose a better reality for yourself and those you love once you know how. This workshop aims to bring your awareness levels up so you can know what it is that's holding you back and then gives you practical guidelines on what you can do to make positive, healthy changes in your life so you can move forward to a time of greater abundance in every way.
